Description: | A UVA and UVB broad spectrum filter. BP4 is used as a UV-filter in sunscreen formulations. To get highest sun protection factor, a combination of BP4 with other oil soluble UV- filters like BP3 is recommended. with sulfonic acid group neutralized eg with Triethanolamine, sodium hydroxide etc. The sulfonic acid group must be neutralized with one of the usual neutralizing agents like triethanolamine and sodium hydroxide.
